The Outgoing Vice Chancellor of Federal University Lafia, Professor Muhammad Sanusi Liman has revealed that his management has perfected arrangements to commission historic and groundbreaking projects executed in his five-year stewardship.

Professor Liman who made the revelation in an exclusive chat with Education Monitor in his Lafia home recently said of particular interest and importance among the projects to be commissioned are rare and state of the art equipment for the institution’s newly established Faculty of Medicine.

The Outgoing Vice Chancellor who attributed his success in the University to divine help by the Almighty Allah, timely intervention and support by the Professor Suleiman Bogoro-led Tertiary Education Trust Fund, the immediate past and present governors of the state, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-makura and Governor Abdullahi A. Sule.

Other very important projects to be commissioned include the University’s Senate Building, lecture theatres and several other infrastructures.

The commissioning ceremony which was not only endorsed by the Institution’s Governing Council, as the main event that is going to mark the final and eventful years of Professor Liman, is being organized in conjunction with the University’s highest administrative body.
