- Tasks Leaders to be Committed to the plight of the masses

The Director General of Edo Liaison Office in Abuja, Dcn Festus Osagie Osaigbovo has commissioned the borehole he donated to Arewa Community in Eyaen Cattle Market, Aduwawa Benin City, Edo State.
The DG, who was represented by Honourable West Ogbebor, said leaders must be faithful in delivering on promises made to the people; noting that such commitments will endear the leaders in their hearts.
Honourable West, who transmitted the message of the DG said, “Festus Osaigbovo is happy with the peace and unity between the Hausa Community and the people in this part of the State. He is also elated about the supports the PDP got from you during the electioneering processes that culminated in the re-election of our amiable Governor, His Excellency, Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki” .
Osaigbovo encouraged the Cattle Dealers to remain law abiding and continue to support the plans, programs and policies of the “Wake and See Governor” to Make Edo Great Again.
Honourable West Ogbebor described Osaigbovo as a man of candor and probity who is always happy to put smiles on the faces of others.
The secretary to Edo State Cattle Dealers Association, Alhaji Umaru Garuba who spoke on bahalf of the association thanked Dcn Festus Osaigbovo for his kind gesture while acknowledging that they have been suffering from lack of water in the area for years.
He opined that if other leaders can borrow a leaf from Osaigbovo’s sincerity and genuineness of his intents and purposes, Edo State and indeed Nigeria will be better place to live in.
On his part, the Chairman of Edo State Cattle Dealers Association, Alhaji Sa’ad Ahmed who was visibly elated stressed the need for continued supports and partnerships between the Hausa Community and Edo people.
He noted that such synergy would fastrack development of the state. He prayed God Almighty to bless Osaigbovo in all his endeavours for not reneging on his promises to them.
Other leaders of Hausa Community who were present at the event included Ahaji Ali Garuba (Chairman Cattle Market), Alhaji Sariki Bawa Yaradua(Chairman Edo Butchers Association), Alhaji Buhari (Chairman Goat Association), Alhaji Sani Mohammed (Chairman Arewa PDP), Hajia Zelei(Women Leader), Alhaji Jamilu (Youths Leader), Alhaji Sani, Alhaji Abubarka, Alhaji Abishua amongst others.
