Barely two weeks after his appointment as the Special Assistant to the Registrar of National Examination Council, Dr Emeka Flemin Okengwu, has resigned his appointment.

Dr Emeka’s resignation is believed to be as a result of mounting pressure on the Registrar, Professor Godswill Obioma, by a group that calls itself – All People Congress Accountability Group which recently alleged in a petition that Dr Emeka is not, and had never been an APC man, and therefore must not be allowed to occupy any position that should be meant for real APC foot Soldiers

Realising how the Pressure on the Registrar was assuming a frightening proportion, Education Monitor gathered that, in an attempt to stave off further embarrassment, the Registrar reportedly adviced Dr Emeka to resign without further delay.

It was as a result of this development, that Dr Emeka quietly resigned his appointment which according to him would enable him concentrate on other national assignment.
