The Biotechnology Society of Nigeria is set to hold a national symposium in honor of Professor Vincent Ado Tenebe, former Vice-Chancellor of National Open University of Nigeria and Chairman of the Society’s Board of Trustees.
The symposium, themed “GMOs and Vaccines: Myths, Advances and Prospects,” will take place on November 18th, 2024, at the National Open University of Nigeria, Abuja, at 10 am prompt.
The event will feature an expert panel discussion with renowned biotechnology experts, including Dr. Rose Gidado, Director of Agricultural Biotechnology Department, NBRDA Nigeria; Prof. PC Oyenekwe, Director General/CEO of Sheda Science and Technology Complex; Prof. Benjamin Ubi, Director of Biotechnology Centre, Ebonyi State University; and Prof. Celestine Aguoru, Executive Director of Centre for Environment and Biodiversity Protection Initiative.
