The Director General of Dikko Radda Women Support Group in Katsina, Hajiya Maryam Ibrahim Shuaibu, has reiterated the Group’s unapologetic position that the people of Katsina state do not have a better choice than Dr Dikko Umar Radda as Governor Masari’s successor.
Dr Dikko Umar Radda who is the state’s flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), according to Hajiya Maryam, apart from being the leading and most popular of all the Gubernatorial Aspirants in the state, is the only candidate, at the moment, that has what it takes, in terms of capacity, large heart, vision, realistic manifestos, experience, and above all, the requisite educational records and accomplishments needed to, not only wear Governor Masari’s shoe, but to move the state to enviable heights.
The Director General of the Radda Women Support Group stressed that Katsina state being one of the leading states in northern Nigeria in terms of proponderance of educated elites and technocrats will not afford to vote mediocres and semi illeterates as their leaders to determine their fate and that of their future generations.
Hajiya Maryam therefore called on all electorates in the state to ensure that they join the progressive train whose captain – Dr Dikko Radda, is determined to rewrite the history of the state, like no Governor has ever written in the state’s recent history.
Hajiya Maryam particularly called on Katsina state’s women to demonstrate to the world that they have also come of age, and can now be counted and relied upon as strategic and influential game changers by voting for Dr Dikko Radda, who she said gave her the assurance that he will give Katsina state women all the attention and support needed to play active role in the development of the state.
