The Sardauna Traditional Council Gembu, Taraba state, has appointed the registrar of Federal College of Education, Technical, Bichi, Alhaji Abdulkarim Bello Morde, as ‘Dan Adalan’ Mmambila.

The conferment of the title of Dan Adalan Mmambila on Abdulkarim Bello Morde followed a resolution and approval made by the Sardauna Traditional Council.

A statement issued and dated 19th August, 2021 by the Secretary of the council, Mohammed Musa, conveying its approval, said, “In line with the resolution and approval to the Sardauna Traditional Council, Gembu, l wish to write and convey approval of your appointment as the title holder – Dan Adalan Mmambila with effect from the date of this letter”.

“In view of the above, the council decided to confer on you the above honorary traditional title based on high sense of patriotism and distinguished quality of leadership you have been putting up in your previous and present positions of responsibility”, the statement added

“We, therefore, congratulate you on your well-deserved appointment and we wish you success in all your future endeavours”, the statement stressed.

Born on 21/11/1968 in Mbar-Gembu village in Sardauna local government area of Taraba State, Bello Abdulkarim Norde, attended Mbar Tule primary school in 1975, where he graduated in 1980.

He proceeded to Government Day Secondary School Mbamnga in 1980 and graduated in 1985; from where he proceeded to University of Maiduguri in 1998, where he obtained his B.A degree in Mass Communication in 2004.

Norde was at Usmanu Danfodio University (UDUS) in 2005 and National Open University of Nigeria in 2009, where he obtained his MSc degree in Mass Communication in 2012.

He started his journalism career in 1989 as a regional correspondent/staff writer with Ideal Republic Magazine, Jos. He has also worked with various media organisations and institutions where he held various positions, before later securing his present position as the substantive registrar of Federal College of Education Bichi.
