A traditional title holder in Bichi, Dan Ruwatan Mai Garin Bichi, Alhaji Lawal Bello Mustapha, has commended the new and second Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero, for his unprecedented and transparent commitment to use his personal resources which he got through dint of hardwork and connection to develop the young Emirate.
Dan Ruwata who said appointment of Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero as the Emir of Bichi is a great blessing for the people of the Emirate in particular and the state in general, called on both the elites and commoners of Bichi to cooperate with the Emir in his determination to move the Emirate to greater heights.
Alhaji Bello stressed that without absolute loyalty of the people of the Emirate to the Emir, his resolve to actualize his dreams of positioning the Emirate on a competitive path with other Emirates in the country will be difficult to achieve.
Dan Ruwata however called on all the elites in the Emirate to support the Emir in his commendable and popular drive to make Bichi the pride of all.
Dan Ruwata appealed to the Emir to persuade the state government to ensure equitable and even distribution of developmental projects in all the nooks and crannies of the Emirate, arguing that its only by so doing that other parts of the Emirate will develop on the same proportion thereby discouraging migration of people from rural communities to the city centre in search of social amenities.
