Professor Sa’ad A. Ahmad has assumed active duties as Chief Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre Jabi, Abuja.

Upon assumption of office, Sa’ad did not waste time in charting the course of action for the progress of the centre as he immediately held series of meetings with different Heads of Departments and staff of the Hospital to find out their grievances and complains with the view of tackling them to move the FMC forward.

The new CMD promised to work harmoniously with the Board members in order to surpass the legacy that was already in place at the hospital to justify the confidence reposed in him by the federal government.

He pledged an all inclusive working relationship that would carry everyone along to ensure equity and transparency in the discharge of his duties.

Speaking with Health Monitor, some staff of the medical centre expressed joy and satisfaction with the appointment of the young and energetic MD who they all promised to support in his drive to chart the FMC on the more expected path of greatness.

Health Monitor recalls that Prof. Sa’ad was appointed Chief Medical Director of Jabi Federal Medical CentreĀ  (FMC) Abuja with effect from 16th January 2020 after the expiration of the tenure of Dr (Mrs) Chinwe Igwilo.

Born inĀ  Malabu in Fufore Local Government Area of Adamawa State on 15th April, 1972, Professor Saad Ahmed graduated from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 1998 with MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery), and became Professor in 2015.
