All is set for Professor Peter Terkaa Akper and Professor Fatima Waziri-Azi to deliver the seventh and eighth Inaugural Lectures of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS), Abuja.

While Professor Akper will deliver his inaugural lecture on the topic, “Towards Realizing The Potentials of The Mining Sector: Policy, Legal and Institutional Reform Imperatives For Nigeria”, on Thursday, July 25th, Professor Waziri-Azi will deliver her own on the topic, “The Interplay Between Corruption and Human Trafficking Epidemic: Implications and Solutions for Nigeria”, on Thursday, August 1st, 2024.

The inaugural lectures which will be chaired by the Director General of NIALS, Professor Muhammad Tawfiq Ladan (Hubert Humphrey Fellow, USA) will both take place at the Auditorium of Musa Yar’adua Centre, Wuse Abuja at 11:00 am on the designated dates

Professor Akper and Professor Waziri-Azi are renowned experts in their fields, and their lectures are expected to be enriching and thought-provoking.
