The newly elected President of Numana Community Development Organization (NCDO), Comrade Ahmed Manzo Gani, has promised to introduce unprecedented reforms in the organization that will impact on the Numana Kingdom and make it more responsive to the yearnings and aspirations of the Numana race

The NCDO President who gave the assurance in his post election victory speech in Gwantu, Headquarters of Sanga local government, where the election of the organization’s executives took place, penultimate week, won the election with 145 votes to defeat his opponent, Comrade D.M. Alkali, who scored 33 votes.

While Vice President of the Organization, Assistant Secretary General, PRO I, PRO II, Auditor I, Auditor II, Sports Director I, Sports Director II, Welfare Officer I, Welfare Officer II, and Social Director II, were returned unopposed, Bagyang Ishaku Musa and Yusuf Danladi Akwa, were elected as Secretary General and Treasurer, by defeating their opponents, Abebgashek Micah Janda and Jesse Averik, respectively.

Muhammad Dahiru, John Danjuma Kura and Bisallah Danladi (Dennis Akuta) were elected as Financial Secretary, Social Director I, and Cultural Officer I, respectively, Reuben John Garba, and Solomon Sambo, defeated their rivals, Ezekiel Ibrahim and Sabo Galadima to clinch the positions of Cultural Officer II, and Provost, respectively.

The President also promised that his Team will work hard to promote peace in Numana Kingdom, Sanga local government, Kaduna State and Nigeria at large, by constituting a high powered committee of leaders of Thought and Wisdom to ascertain the causes of conflicts, distrust, and animosity in the Numana Kingdom itself, and its neighbours, with whom they have for long lived together or coexisted as brothers without friction.

“We shall also work hard to create a conducive, cordial and sustainable relationship among us, and between our communities and our neighbors”, he stressed.

Comrade Manzo also said, “we shall do our best to reach out to all the leadership of the three tiers of government in the country to establish social amenities and create job opportunities for our teaming youths in Numana chiedom with the view of helping to reduce poverty, youth violence and engagement in all sorts of social vices like drug consumption and other related crimes”

The NCDO strong man emphasized that, “I will go extra length to sensitize our elites, parents and youths on the importance of pursuing education and Skills acquisition concurrently, which are the key determinants of development in all societies in the world”.
