Chief Executives of Agencies under the Federal Ministry of Education have hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for conferring one of the nation’s prestigious national honours – Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) on the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, a decision t hey unanimously described as well-deserved and timely.

The Chief Executives who all described the Minister as a man of honour, integrity and a selfless Nigerian who had always put the interest of the nation above personal interest, stressed that Adamu Adamu’s vision and passion for nigeria’s educational development is unparalleled The Chief Executives included the Executive Secretary of National Universities Commission, Professor Adamu Abubakar Rasheed, the Executive Secretary of National Board for Technical Education, Professor Idris Bugaje, Executive Secretary of National Commission for Colleges of Education, Professor Paulinus Okwelle, the Executive Secretary of Tertiary Education Trust Fund, Arc Sunny Echono, and the Registrar of Joint Admissions Matriculation Board, Professor Ishaq Oloyede.

Others are the Director General of National Teachers Institute, Professor Musa Garba Mai Tafsiri, the Registrar of National Board For Arabic and Islamic Studies, Professor Shafi’u Abdullahi, the Registrar of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, Professor Josiah, Olusegun Ajiboye, the Registrar of National Examinations Council, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, The Chief Executives all concurred that Malam Adamu Adamu has done extremely well within the period that he steered affairs of the ministry, and therefore truly deserves encomium and accolades by all well meaning stakeholders in the education community.
