The Plateau state Governor Barrister Caeb M. Mutfwang has announced the dissolution of the Governing Council of Plateau State University Bokkos.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to Government of Plateau State (SSG) Arch Samuel N. Jatau, said the dissolution is with immediate effect.
The statement said governor Mutfeang also approved the removal of the heads of the higher institutions in the state.
According to the statement, the affected institutions includes Plateau State University, Bokkos, Plateau State Polytechnic, Barking Ladi, College of Education Gindiri, College of Health Technology Zawan and College of Health Technology Pankshin.
The statement directed the affected person’s to handover all government properties in their possession to the most senior officers in the institution with immediate effect.
The governor also approved the cancellation of all emplyments into the institutions from October 2022 to early 2023; adding that all inclusive recruitments into the tertiary institutions will advertised in due course.
The governor, while thanking the Council members and the outgoing heads of institutions for the services rendered, he wished the success in their future endeavours.
