The Federal Government has conferred National Productivity Order of Merit (NPOM) Award on the Director General of Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS), Professor Muhammad Tawfiq Ladan
The Award was presented to the Director General at the Headquarters of the National Productivity Centre in Abuja on 14/06/2023.
Earlier, a letter personally signed by the Honourable Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator (Dr) Chris Nwabueze Ngige CON, dated 26/05/2023, conveying Professor Ladan’s nomination for the award, read, “The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, has approved the conferment of the National Productivity Order of Merit (NPOM) Award on you in recognition of your high productivity, hard work and Excellence”
“Your recommendation was based on the report of the National Productivity Order of Merit Award Committee after a vigorous selection process”, the letter further read.
“The National Productivity Order of Merit Award is an award of honour and dignity instituted by the federal government to recognise hard work and excellence resulting in increased productivity in your organization and Nigeria at large”, the letter clarified.
“On behalf of the President and the entire people of Nigeria, I congratulate you for this honour conferred on you by the nation”, the letter added.
