Following his recent attainment of 65 years of age and subsequent retirement as the Provost of Federal College of Education Pankshin, in line with the nation’s conditions and scheme of civil service, Dr Bulus Cirfat has handed over administration of the college to his Deputy, Dr (Mrs) Christiana Fwenji Zumyil as acting Provost.
Dr Zumyil who had since taken over mantle of leadership of the college, apart from being Dr Cirfat’s tested and trusted second in command, was found to be his most competent successor, giving her wealth of experience, dedication to duty and unparalleled capacity.
Born on 18th of July,1967, in Pankshin, Plateau state, she attended Holy Cross Primary School Pankshin between 1975 and 1981, from where she proceeded to Government Secondary School Pankshin in 1982 where she finished in 1986.
Young Christiana was admitted into University of Jos in 1987 for her remedial program, after which she was admitted for her BSc. Ed. Degree program in Biology in the same university where she graduated in 1994.
She obtained her M.Sc Ed. (Biology) and PhD Science Education Degrees in 2005 and 2019 respectively.
She has published several articles in both local and international journals.
