The Emir of Zazzau, His Highness Dr Shehu Idris has congratulated the Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Professor Kabir Bala.
The leader of the royal delegation, and Sarkin Fadan Zazzau, Alhaji Abbas Ahmadu Fatika presented the congratulatory letter to the Vice Chancellor in his office.
Alhaji Abbas Ahmadu Fatika said he was in the institution to felicitate with Professor Kabir Bala over his appointment and assumption of office as the new Vice Chancellor of the premier university.
The leader of the royal delegation, prayed to Almighty Allah to guide and help the new Vice-Chancellor in the discharge of his official responsibilities.
Earlier, the new Vice Chancellor of ABU, Professor Kabir Bala expressed appreciation for the visit and pledged to maintain good working relationship with Zazzau emirate.
He particularly thanked His Highness, the Emir of Zazzau, Dr Shehu Idris for his support, co-operation and fatherly advice to management of Ahmadu Bello University whenever the need arose.
High point of the event was presentation of a congratulatory letter from the Emirate personally signed by His Highness the Emir of Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris.
