His untiring commitment has earned several accolades: On Sunday, July 15, 2018, Dr Al-Bishak received an Award of Excellence as Ambassador of Peace which was presented to him by the Muslim Student Society, Federal University, Lafia, at the Main Auditorium, FULafia, Take-Off Site, just after he had an Award of Honour for Humanitarian Service presented to him by the Lafia Students Association of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, at the same auditorium on Sunday, April 8, 2018.
Prior to that, he received an Award of Excellence as Icon of Integrity presented by the Final Year Students of English, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, at the Convocation Square, NSUK, on Friday, August 4, 2017, and so on and so forth.
A Senior Lecturer in the Department of English, Nasarawa State University, Keffi since 2008, Dr Al-Bishak who was born on 25th January, 1960, in Zaria, holds PhD in Literature-in-English Literary Egyptology from NSUK. Before then he had bagged Masters of Arts degree (MA) in Literature from the University of Lagos (1987-1989) and Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) from the famous Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria (1981-1984). His academic prowess which cuts across the national and international landscape of the academia has made his name synonymous with many universities and other institutions of higher learning where he has lectured or is still lecturing.

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Suleiman Muhammad, has approved the appointment of Dr Mallam Al-Bishak as the new Managing Director (MD) of NSUK Consult. Dr Al-Bishak whose appointment was announced recently takes immediate effect. He took over from Dr Yahya Adadu, the Institution’s one time ASUU Chairman.
