The Chairman Kaduna State Chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Reverend Joseph John Hayab, has urged the Chief of Gwantu, Malam Balarabe Abdullahi Karma, to treat his subjects justly.

Reverend Hayab who made the call during a courtesy visit on the Chief Monday in his Palace in Gwantu said, “I came to you with words of prayers, blessings and advice as a leader on the imperative of justice and fairness”.

The CAN Chairman told the Chief to carry all his subjects along irrespective of tribal, ethnic or religious differences. He stressed that, “justice among followers is the secret of successful administration in any society, and by any leader”.

He called on him to try to work with righteous men of God in the Chiefdom, who he said, is their duty to give him honest advice on how to succeed in the discharge of his roles as their leader.

Reverend Hayab who prayed to God to give the Chief good health, long live and wisdom, also asked God to show the Chief sincere and honest subjects who will not mislead him in his discharge of his duties, and so that he may embrace and work with them.

He also asked God to show the Chief wicked and hypocrites among his subjects who may want to be close to him mainly for personal gains and mischief making in the Chiefdom.

In his response, the Chief thanked the CAN Chairman and his delegation for the visit, prayers and words of advice.

Malam Karma assured the Chairman that as a leader and Chief of people of diverse religious, tribal and ethnic groups, he has undertaken to deal with all his subjects justly and with fairness.

He emphasized that his door is always open to all his subjects, especially those who are genuinely committed to ensuring peace, unity and progress of the Chiefdom.
