President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Prof. Musa Ahmed as the Vice-Chancellor of the newly established Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru, Kebbi State.
The appointment was contained in a letter signed by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Alhaji Muhammad Sabo Nanono.
Until his appointment, Prof Ahmed was the Director of Computer Services and Information Technology Unit (COMSIT) of the University of Unilorin.
He is a Professor of Veterinary, Parasitology and Entomology and a Fellow of the Nigeria College of Veterinary Surgeons.
The University of Agriculture, Zuru, Kebbi State, is billed to take off in September 2020.
