The Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Prof Kabiru Bala, has approved the appointment of Dr Yaya Umar Faruk of the Institution’s Department of Urban and Regional Planning as the new Managing Director of the University’s Consultancy Firm aka ABUCONS
Dr Yaya Umar Faruk takes over from Dr Samaila Ilu of the Institution’s National Agricultural Extension and Research Liaison Services (NAERLS). Dr Ilu was replaced by Dr. Yaya while he was yet to finish serving out his second term of two years.
Also appointed to assist Dr Yaya Umar Faruk were two Directors – Dr Awwal Kasim of the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Dr. Mansir Dodo of the Department of Building.
