The Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) testing centre established at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria is now ready for operations.

The Centre, which was certified fit to analyze samples of suspected patients of Corona Virus by the National Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) in Zaria today (Saturday 25th April, 2020) is domiciled at the African Centre of Excellence for Neglected Tropical Diseases And Forensic Bio-Technology (ACENTDFB), Ahmadu Bello University.

 

The Ag. Vice Chancellor Prof. Danladi Amodu Ameh was in attendance at the centre along with other principal officers of the University when Dr Ndodo Nnaemeka, Chief Molecular BioEngineering, National Reference Centre, National Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC), declared that COVID-19 Testing Centre is ready.
