Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) has appointed Jaafar Abdullahi Abubakar as its new Acting Information and Protocol Officer, poised to leverage his administrative expertise and media savvy to enhance the university’s image.
Jaafar Abdullahi Abubakar, a distinguished alumnus of Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi, University of Jos, and NSUK, is currently pursuing advanced studies at the prestigious Institute of Strategic and Development Communication, NSUK.
With a stellar administrative career spanning multiple sections of the University, including the Academic Division, Jaafar has demonstrated exceptional leadership and organizational skills. His previous roles include Secretary, Ceremonies Committee, Secretary, Inaugural Lecture Committee, and Administrative Secretary, Open Distance e-Learning Centre (ODeL).
Prior to his appointment, Jaafar served as Deputy Information and Protocol Officer for over seven years, showcasing his dedication and expertise. As an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and a member of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (MANUPA), Jaafar brings a wealth of knowledge and professional networks to his new role.
In his new capacity, Jaafar will focus on strengthening administrative processes, fostering robust relationships with journalists and stakeholders, and enhancing the university’s image and reputation through strategic communication.
