Contrary to our earlier report that the heavily armed gunmen who kidnapped the Chairman of Keffi Local Government Council in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Baba Shehu have released him, we have on strong authority that the chairman and his SA are still with their captors, who are demanding for N30m before the duo will be released.
The Chairman and his SA were kidnapped yesterday (Friday evening) on their way back home (keffi) from lafia where they went to attend official function.
Education Monitor gathered that his Police orderly, who was a final year Sociology student with the Nasarawa State University Keffi, was also reported to have been killed on the spot while trying to provide security to his Boss.
