Born on January 8, 1967, in Ibadan, Professor Oluyinka Oluseyi attended St. Louis Primary School Bompai, Kano, where he obtained his Primary School Leaving Certificate 1978. He was at Federal Government college Kano, 1978 – 1983 and School of Basic Studies (SBS) 1983.
From there Oluyinka Oluseyi Okubanjo found his way into Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, A.B.U. Zaria (1984 – 1990), where he obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1990, and Masters of Science (M.Sc) in Vet. Parasitology in 2001. He later went to Tokyo University of Agriculture Tokyo between 2002 and 2005, and bagged his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Animal Health in 2005. He was Promoted Professor October 1, 2015.
