President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the re-appointment of Dr Amos Bulus Cirfat to complete his second term of 4 years as the Provost of Federal College of Education Pankshin, Plateau State.
The Appointment will take effect from December, 2020.

Dr. Amos Bulus Cirfat who is also called Dr. ABC is the first substantive Provost to be appointed from within the Staff of the College and officially resumed his first tenure on the 12th of January, 2017.

He has served as Dean, School of Sciences and Students’ Affairs as well as Chairman of the SERVICOM Unit of the institution.

Dr. Amos Bulus Cirfat is a former Deputy Provost of the College, National President of the Science Teachers’ Association of Nigeria, STAN, and a Chief Lecturer in the Biology Department of the school of Sciences of the institution.

He is a teacher to the core, scholar, distinguished administrator, unionist, loving and committed husband, caring father, loving friend, youth mentor, people and grassroot mobilizer, God-fearing, humble, respectful, reasonable, and a responsible Nigerian.

Born on 6th June 1958 to the family of Baba Bulus Cirfat of Kwanpe, Bwarat District of Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau state. Dr. Amos Bulus Cirfat popularly known and called ABC started his educational journey at the Roman Catholic Mission (RCM) Transfer School, Langtang where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1974. He proceeded to the famous Government Secondary School, Pankshin for his West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1979. Later went to the popular College of Education Gindiri for his Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) which he obtained in1983.
In a keen desire to update and keep in touch with destiny, Dr. Cirfat proceeded to the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he trained and obtained the envied Bachelor of Education in Biology Degree in 1990.
Dr Cirfat went ahead to the renowned University of Jos for his Masters of Science Education Degree in 1993. He went to the esteemed Benue State University where he backed his Doctorate of Philosophy Education in 2014.

Dr. ABC has also served as a member of various accreditation teams to Colleges of Education across the country as well as many other national responsibilities. Thus, he is blessed with a massive wealth of knowledge in education and leadership within and outside the College.

Dr. Cirfat is married to Mrs. Lohya A. Cirfat and blessed with four children.
