The Managing Director of Ahmadu Bello University Press (ABUPress), Zaria, Mal Ahmed Ibrahim Ja’e, has congratulated the Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman and all other Alumni of the University for making the list of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Ministerial Cabinet.

The Managing Director who spoke in a chat with Education Monitor on the inauguration of the new Ministers appealed to them not to forget their Alma mata in the discharge of their national assignments.

He told the ministers that eventhough as ministers of the federal republic of nigeria, whose allegiance is, first and foremost, to the nigerian nation, they should not forget Ahmadu Bello Zaria in their kingdom, because that was where they received their first academic and administrative mentoring or training as potential leaders of the country.

He also reminded them that as Ambassadors of the University, they must ensure that they bring to bear in their national assignments the spirit of justice, hard work and fairness of Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Sardauna of Sokoto, and founder of the university, that was instilled in them during their days as students in the university.

He categorically reminded them to patronize the university in whatever area they needed any form of support, arguing that ABU has plethora of capacities and resource persons that can help them succeed in the discharge of their responsibilities.

“ABU has one of the best printing companies in Nigeria that promptly delivers all kinds of quality printing services that if the Alumni can patronize will, apart from deriving satisfaction, be proud of the university’s modern printing capacity and services”, he assured.
