Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK), has been ranked 36th in Sub-Saharan Africa and 8th in Nigeria by the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) in its 2024 Sub-Saharan Africa University Rankings.

The ranking, which was released on November 27, 2024, is a testament to the university’s commitment to academic excellence and research.

NSUK’s strong performance in the rankings is attributed to its dedicated faculty members, state-of-the-art facilities, and innovative research endeavors.

The university’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Liman, expressed delight over the ranking, saying it was a reflection of the university’s hard work and dedication to excellence.

“We are thrilled to be ranked among the top universities in Sub-Saharan Africa and Nigeria,” Professor Liman said. “This achievement is a testament to the university’s commitment to providing world-class education and research opportunities to our students.”

The ranking is expected to boost the university’s reputation and attract more students and researchers from across the globe.

NSUK has consistently been ranked among the top universities in Nigeria, and this latest ranking is a further affirmation of its academic excellence.
