Following the expiration of the five year eventful tenure of Professor Suleiman Bala Muhammad, as the Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University Keffi, who bowed out today, the Professor Attahiru Muhammadu Jega-led Governing Council has approved the appointment of Professor Abdullahi Sallau Modibbo as acting Vice Chancellor, pending the appointment of a substantive Vice Chancellor. The appointment takes effect from Tuesday, 2nd, 2nd, 2024.
The statement further added that as Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Modibbo will cover the office of the Vice-Chancellor and take full responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the University in consultation with the Pro-Chancellor.
Until his current appointment Professor Abdullahi Sallau Modibbo is the DVC Academic of Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
