Another remarkable progress in the fight against terrorism in Nigeria have been recorded following the arrest of a foreign national that specializes in supplying arms and other logistics to Boko Haram insurgents
It would be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari recently gave a matching order for the security agents to go after terrorists and to restore peace in the country.
The Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami, while briefing the public on the activities of the Armed forces of Nigeria on Thursday 8th September 2022, disclosed that Mallam Abatcha Bukar was apprehended with assorted injections, 2 Automated Teller Machine Cards and the sum of N294,520.00 only.
In a related development, Major General Musa Danmadami said a large number of Boko Haram insurgents were killed during an air strike by the Nigerian Airforce. According to him some fleeing terrorists were neutralized by land component in the course of the operation.
