Nigerian government has expressed its deepest condolences to the Russian Federation following the tragic attack at the Crocus Concert Hall in Moscow.
Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yussuf Tuggar, expressed the country’s melancholy on his verified social media X handle.
“We condemn this senseless act of violence that has claimed innocent lives and left many injured.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this difficult time”, Tuggar said.
The Nigerian government also offered its support to the Russian government in its efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice.
“We stand in solidarity with the people of Russia and call for all those responsible for this attack to be held accountable,” the Minister added.
Meanwhile, China has also expressed deep shock over the attack. In a statement, spokesperson of the China Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that China expressed deep shock by the heavy casualties inflicted by the severe terrorists attack in Moscow, Russia.
“We express deep condolences to the victims and extend sincere sympathies to the injured and the bereaved.
“China opposes all forms of terrorism, strongly condemns terrorist attacks, and firmly supports Russia in safeguarding its national security and stability.”
An attack on Crocus Concert Hall in Moscow, which happened on Friday evening, left at least 115 dead, with over 100 injured.
