The Odyong Nyankpa of Panda, in Karu Local Government of Nasarawa State, His Royal Highness Barr. Joel Aninge, today marked the 20th year anniversary of ascending the royal throne of people. The anniversary, which came in grand style, was full of outpour of endless prayers for more strength and long life, as his Subjects pledged their unflinching loyalty to their Great Monarch. Describing the day as peculiar in Nyanpa Nation, the Member Representing Karu/Gitata Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Honourable David Maiyaki, congratulated the Royal Father and prayed for more wisdom to continue to harness the cultural antecedents of Nyanpa people to the benefit of the present and the future generation.  “What a great day in the history of Nyankpa Nation, HRH, Odyong Nyankpa Barr. Joel Aninge is 20years on Throne today, Congratulations Your Highness”.

 

The Legislator thanked God for adding another year to him which coincided with the anniversary of the enthronement of the peoples’ Emir (Odyong Nyankpa), “I also thank God for adding a year to me on this same day”. He also expressed profound appreciation to his constituents for their consistent prayers, support and mandate given him to steer the ship of politics of the area on their behalf, urging them not to faint in their confidence as he promised not to fail them. “Indeed, l thank you all for your prayers, support and the mandate you gave us to pilot the affairs of our great Land and constituency. Without any doubt, please continue to be confident in our leadership”, he said.

 

In the same vein, the S.A to Karu Local Govt. Chairman on Community Relation, Hon. Egbe W. Moses conveyed his sincere congratulations to his Majesty, on the occasion of the 20th. Anniversary of the accession to the throne, praying that, “the Almighty God in his infinite mercy, give his Majesty the strength and blessings to continue to remain on the throne in greatness, sovereignty and prosperity”.
