The death has occurred of Malama Maryam Suleiman of Hanwa Village in Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna state.
Aged 103, late Malama Maryam who is popularly known as Malama Dada, died in the early evening of Wednesday, 22, March, 2023, after a protracted illness
The deceased who is survived by Five Children, 50 Grand Children, 84 Great Grand Children, and about 16 Great Great Grandchildren had since been buried in Hanwa, according to islamic rites.
Among her Grand Children are Malam Muhammad Isa Ahmad, a lecturer with Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, Ibrahim Isa Ahmad, Aisha Isa Ahmad, Fatima Isa Ahmad, Amina Isa Ahmad of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and Shuaibu Isa Ahmad of Academic Forum and Coordinator of Political Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria.
Her Grand Sons-in-laws include: A Kano businessman, Alhaji Garba Yusuf Alhasawa, Professor Abubakar Sadiq Muhammad and Dr Adamu Aliyu of Faculty of Education, and Waziri Isa Adam, (Wazirin Gwantu III) of Mass Communication Department, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
