45 Undergraduate students of Igbinedion University Okada, Benin, Edo State – Nigeria, out of a total of 717, have graduated with First Class
In the Postgraduate category, 45 earned Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), while 77 earned Master’s degrees, 16 earned Postgraduate Diplomas
This was disclosed yesterday during the first phase of the university’s 22nd convocation ceremony at Okada, by the Vice-chancellor, Professor Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye
Professor Ezemonye who also doubles as the newly elected chairman of Abuja-based Committee of Vice-chancellors of Nigeria’s Universities, disclosed that 288 students made Second Class Upper Division and 225 made made Second Class Lower Division.
He said while there is none with Third Class degree, 160 earned unclassified degrees (Medicine & Surgery and Pharmacy. Additionally, three students had distinction in Community Medicine.
