The Provost of University of Ghana, Legon, Professor Joseph Awetori Yaro, has commended the Director General of Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS), Professor Muhammed Tawfiq Ladan, for honouring the university’s invitation to serve as the Guest Speaker of its 2023/2024 Convocation and for delivering an impactful Lecture during the ceremony.
The Provost, in a letter titled, “Letter of Appreciation” which he personally signed, delivered to the Director General, dated 12th, August, 2024, said, “I write to express our deepest appreciation for honouring our invitation to serve as the Guest Speaker at the August 2024 congregation ceremony, during which various law degrees were conferred on our graduates who successfully completed their studies in the 2023/2024 academic year”
Professor Yaro poured encomiums on Professor Ladan’s Lecture which he described as “rich in insight and practical wisdom”.
He said, “Professor Ladan’s lecture resonated deeply with the graduating class”, revealing that, “We have received highly positive feedback from our graduates, reflecting the impact of your words on their outlook and future aspirations”.
Professor Yaro reiterated that the university is looking forward to fostering a continuous partnership with the legal Icon, extending convocation ceremony, to work together to inspire and equip the next generation of world leaders.
