Request by Health Monitor to speak with the two strongmen of the Centre, the Medical Director, Dr Yahaya Baba Adamu, and the Centre’s Head of Finance and Accounts, Dr Samson Adewale Adegoke, to shed more light on the Audit’s report, has been honoured.ollowing the release of a damning report by the office of the Auditor General of the Federation on Federal Medical Centre Keffi, Management of the hospital has accepted to respond to the report which has grossly affected it’s reputation and that of the management.
The interview which has now been scheduled to take place sometime in January, 2022, will also bring to readers opinions of the Centre’s powerful in-house Union, and Public’s perspective on the Audit report.
It will be recalled that the Audit report which, among other findings, accused the Centre of paying ghost workers between 2016 to 2021 a whopping sum of N229m as salaries and has also diverted the sum of N8.3bn, all within the same period; was published on several social media platforms.
