‘She left very young children, husband, among others,’ school mates, colleagues penned emotional condolences message for late publisher of AP News.

A former journalist with Daily Trust Newspapers, Nahimah Ajikanle-Nurudeen, is dead.

Platforms Africa reports that Ajikanle-Nurudeen, who is the Publisher of AP News, died on Friday.

Her death was announced via a statement by Moruf Kazeem, Public Relations Officer of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Muslims Alumni Association (MAPAMA), her alumni association.

Describing the development as a sad news, Kazeem prayed; “May Allah accept her return and grant her Al-Janna firdaus. May Allah’s mercies and protection be upon the the children and the entire family left behind.”

Inna Lillai Wa Inna Ilei Rojiun

This is to announce the demise of our dear Sister Nahimah Ajikanle-Nurudeen today.

She is a member of the Lagos Chapter, she also served as a member of MAPAMA Media and Publicity Committee.

What a SAD news!

The janazah has been done today.

May Allah accept her return and grant her Al-Janna firdaus.

May Allah’s mercies and protection be upon the children and the entire family left behind.

Let’s pray for her and the entire family at this critical time.

Death is enough as an admonition, let’s be closer to Allah and be conscious of our Ibadah.
