The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Transportation Daura, Professor (Hon) Umar Adam Katsayal, has commended the China Railway Signal and Communication (CRSC) International Company for organizing a 14-day robust, educative training and rich interactive engagement.
The Vice-Chancellor made this statement in a paper presented on Wednesday during the closing ceremony of the International Seminar on Rail Transit Intelligent Control System for Nigeria, organized by CRSC, a People’s Republic of China international company.

Professor Katsayal expressed profound gratitude to the organizers, CRSC, for extending hands of friendship and partnership by inviting stakeholders to attend. He said, “I am sure we are all now better informed about the rail transit intelligent control system in particular and the rail transport system in general, the modernization of China, the technological advancement of China, and the people of China generally. We say a very big thank you for providing us with the needed conducive environment and materials for the seminar to take place without any hitch.”
He continued, “The rich contents of the lectures presented by the various experts of different disciplines and the practical component, along with the various visits conducted around Beijing, Shanghai, and Suzhou, have really opened our minds and provided us with amazing understanding of the opening-up of China, the modernization of China, the history of China, the technological advancement of China, as well as the rich culture and traditions of the Chinese people.”

Professor Katsayal further said, “I believe that we are all fascinated with everything presented in the lectures and the practical sessions, and with what we witnessed during our various visits. The experiences are so marvelous, ranging from the understanding of the rail transit intelligent control system, the history and the technological development of China’s railway and China’s metro in particular, and China’s scientific and technological advancement in general.”
He expressed appreciation to the event’s organizing committee for their guidance and hospitality since their arrival on Chinese soil, wishing everyone who attended a safe and pleasant journey back to their various destinations.
