Following the recent death of the immediate past Provost of College of Education Akwanga, Dr Rebecca Isaac Umaru who is alleged to have passed away as result of COVID-19 related complications, fresh calls for the probe of her successor, Dr Roseline Kella, over same allegations of corruption levelled against the late Provost.
Dr Kella who was appointed last year after Dr Umaru was relieved of her position as Provost following mountains of allegations of corruption levelled against her by different Unions and concerned stakeholders from within and outside the college.
Education Monitor gathered that even before the death of Dr Umaru, there were series of petitions against the incumbent Interim Administrator of the College on different allegations ranging from gross incompetence to mismanagement of the meagre resources she inherited from the late Provost.
