In an unbelievable circumstance, a Kaduna-based Gwantu Community Leader, and retired staff of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), who is the Sarkin Yaki Gwantu, Mr Sabo Gambo Avazeh, has been kidnapped.
Mr Avazeh who was kidnapped on Friday evening on his way from Kaduna to Gwantu to see his family members who were still mourning his daughter who died recently after a brief illness.
The kidnappers informed his poor family members, through a negotiator, that their victim may be killed by tomorrow, Monday, if they are unable to present N10m as ransom and as a condition for his release.
Mr Avazeh was kidnapped in his car, about few kilometers to his final destination and home – Gwantu, alongside a woman and her daughter, whose fate, as at the time of filling this report is unknown.
