The African Union Students’ Club (AUSC) continues to demonstrate its commitment to promoting academic excellence, student welfare, and the spirit of African unity within the university community.
As a student organisation inspired by the ideals of the African Union, the Club seeks to cultivate leadership, intellectual collaboration, and social responsibility among African students and the wider academic community.
In furtherance of these objectives, the Club recently organised an initiative aimed at supporting effective learning and improving academic facilities across selected faculties. The programme was led by the Head of the African Union Students’ Club, Ahmad Shuaibu Isa, while the initiative was coordinated by Ozigiz Abdulhakeem Ayedun.
The activity was implemented with the support of key members of the Club’s leadership, including the High Commissioner of AUSC for the Faculty of Social Sciences, Comrade Muzammil, and the Secretary-General of AUSC, Comrade Yusuf.
Their collective efforts ensured the successful planning, coordination, and execution of the project.
This initiative reflects the Club’s broader mission of fostering a conducive academic environment while strengthening the ideals of unity, cooperation, and development among students. By undertaking projects that directly enhance learning conditions, the African Union Students’ Club positions itself as a vital and responsible organisation within the university’s academic ecosystem.
Through programmes such as this, AUSC continues to align student-driven activities with global standards of academic engagement, leadership development, and community service.
The Club remains dedicated to promoting the values of pan-African cooperation, educational advancement, and responsible student participation in institutional development.
