The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Professor Sadiq Zubairu Abubakar and 24 other Professors from different Institutions in the country, who applied for the Vice Chancellor stool of Federal University Gusau have been invited by the Institution’s Governing Council for interview slated for 7th to 10th of December, 2020.
Other Professors that successfully scaled through the rigorous process of the Selection Board included – Professor Umar Danbatta, Professor Muhammad Magaji Garba, Professor Shehu Garki Ado.
Others are Professor BG Dan Shehu, Professor Mu’azu A. Gusau, Professor Aliyu Muhammad Bunza and Professor Yusuf Adamu.
Other Candidates are Professor AD Yahya, Professor MA Wasagu and Professor HM Tukur.
While Professor SZ Abubakar shortly served as the Pioneer Vice Chancellor of the scrapped Alvan Ikoku University of Education, Professor Shehu Garki Ado served and finished his tenure as the Vice Chancellor of Alqalam University Katsina
