The Deputy General Manager of China Railway Signal and Communication International (CRSC International), Mr Yin Yungong, has congratulated participants on the successful completion of a 15-day intensive training program on China’s rail transit technology system.
The participants included the Vice-chancellor of Federal University of Transportation Daura, Professor (Hon) Umar Adam Katsayal, management and other top academic and non academic staff of the University.
The training program, which was held in China between November 20th to December, 4th, ,was aimed at enhancing the technical skills and knowledge of Nigerian professionals in the rail transit sector.
In his address, Mr. Yungong expressed his confidence that the participants had gained valuable insights and hands-on experience, which would enable them to contribute to the development of Nigeria’s rail transit industry.
According to Mr. Yungong, the training program was designed to deepen the participants’ understanding of China’s rail transit technology system, with a focus on practical application and problem-solving. He emphasized that CRSC International would continue to support the growth of Nigeria’s rail transit sector, providing technical assistance and expertise as needed.
The Deputy General Manager highlighted the strong partnership between CRSC International and Nigerian institutions, including the Federal Ministry of Transport (FMOT), Nigerian Railway Corporation and the Federal University of Technology, Duba (FUTD). He expressed optimism that the collaboration would lead to more joint projects, including the establishment of a “Joint Intelligent Control Research Center” in Nigeria.
Mr. Yungong also mentioned that CRSC International would continue to work closely with the Federal Ministry to implement projects such as the Abuja-Kaduna Railway Upgrade and Renovation Project, the Low-Altitude Security System, and other initiatives. He emphasized the company’s commitment to investing in Nigeria’s rail transit construction and contributing to the country’s economic development.
The training program is part of CRSC International’s efforts to promote mutual benefit and win-win cooperation with Nigerian partners. Mr. Yungong stated that the company would maintain its open attitude and commitment to supporting Nigeria’s modern railway projects, leveraging its advanced technology and high-quality services.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Yungong congratulated the trainees on their achievement and encouraged them to stay in touch with CRSC International. He invited them to visit the company’s Nigerian office in Abuja and welcomed them to visit CRSC International’s headquarters in China.
The training program has strengthened the ties between CRSC International and Nigerian institutions, paving the way for future collaborations and projects that will drive the growth and development of Nigeria’s rail transit sector.
