The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, hosted the two distinguished alumni that were recently honoured with national awards for their outstanding contributions to community development during their National Youth Service.
The awardees, Mr. Najimeh Terhinde, a graduate of Business Administration, and Mr. Imeh Steven Deneh, a graduate of Microbiology, were accompanied by the National President of the NSUK Alumni, Barrister Nuhu John Egya Esq., and the Director of GHIDI, Dr. A. I. Akhyala.
Professor Liman who warmly congratulated the awardees, praised their dedication and selfless service, and noted that their recognition by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a testament to the quality of leadership and character fostered at NSUK.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed hope that the honourees would continue to serve as role models and inspire future national award winners.
Other principal officers also congratulated the alumni, commending them for bringing pride to the institution and encouraging them to remain exemplary ambassadors.
The officers also offered prayers for their continued success in their future endeavours, including their recent appointments to national service roles. The event concluded with a group photograph to commemorate the occasion.
