The Ahmadu Bello University Students Representative Council (ABUSRC) has appointed the campus reporter of FCT News Gazette, Nafisa Muhammad Iman, and six other students of the University as members of the ouncil’s media team.
A letter entitled, “Notice of Appointment”, dated October 9th, 2025, signed by the Chief of Staff to the ABUSRC President, Sani Bello Hamza, sent to the appointees, partly read, “The President of the Ahmadu University Students’ Representative Council, Comrade Abdurrahman Halliru Saraki, has approved the appointments of the following distinguished individuals to serve as Members of the Media and Publicity directorate, effective immediately”.
The notice said Abdulrazak Shuaibu, and Muhammad Tambiry Abdullahi (Balance) were appointed as Spokesman and Director of Media and Publicity Unit under the office of the ABUSRC President, and Deputy Director of Media and Publicity Unit, respectively.
Nasiru Abdulhamid, Sani Ibrahim Ndagana, Binta Suleiman, Abdulkadir Zeenat and Nafisa Ahmed were appointed as Content Creators.
Appointed alongside Iman are Muhammad Abubakar Baura, Anisah Muhammad Mustapha, Idris Rahima, Agboola Olajide Jimoh, Abdullahi Musa, and Salisu AbdulAzeez Lawal.
