Leaders from the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation have for the first time jointly condemned the unprecedented Israeli genocide of innocent Palestinians.

The Arab and leaders of the Islamic nation states issued the condemnation in a communique issued in Doha, Qatar, where they gathered for an emergency summit to discuss the recent Israeli attack on Qatari territory.

The communique strongly condemned the Israeli attack, labeling it a “flagrant act of aggression” against an Arab and Islamic state.

The leaders reaffirmed their absolute solidarity with Qatar, pledging to stand firmly with the country in the face of Israeli aggression and to support its security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens. They called upon the international community to assume its responsibilities in maintaining peace and security.

The summit expressed deep concern over Israel’s repeated violations of international law and its threat to regional stability, warning of the catastrophic consequences of continued international inaction. The leaders welcomed Qatar’s role in mediation efforts, particularly in the Gaza Strip.

Qatar’s valued mediation efforts have had positive impacts in support of endeavors to establish security, stability, and peace. The summit commended Qatar’s role in fostering a spirit of consultation and consensus among member states and its tangible contributions to supporting joint action.

The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to the Palestinian cause, stressing the need for a just and comprehensive solution that ensures the realization of the Palestinian people’s inalienable rights. They welcomed the adoption of the “New York Declaration” on the implementation of the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

The summit condemned repeated Israeli threats against Arab and Islamic states, considering them provocative and a grave escalation that threatens international peace and security. The leaders demanded that the international community take deterrent measures to halt Israeli aggressions.

The summit called for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip as quickly as possible, urging international donors to provide necessary support and participate in the forthcoming Gaza Reconstruction Conference. The leaders reaffirmed the historic Hashemite custodianship over the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

They stressed the importance of preserving the status quo at Al-Aqsa Mosque and enabling Palestinians in Jerusalem to remain steadfast on their land. The summit emphasized the need to support the Al-Quds Committee chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.

A just and lasting peace in the Middle East requires Israel’s withdrawal from occupied territories and the establishment of a Palestinian state along the lines of June 4, 1967. The leaders called upon the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities in ending the Israeli occupation.

The summit emphasized the importance of Arab-Islamic unity in facing common challenges and threats and the need for collective action to promote peace and stability in the region. The leaders commended Qatar’s role in hosting and organizing the summit with wisdom and strategic vision.

The Arab-Islamic Emergency Summit concluded with a call to action, urging the international community to take concrete steps to address the Israeli aggression and promote peace and stability in the region. The leaders reaffirmed their support for Qatar and the Palestinian people.

The summit’s final communique outlined several key decisions, including reaffirming collective security, condemning Israeli policies, and supporting Palestinian rights. The leaders welcomed the pivotal role played by representatives of Arab and Islamic states that are members of the Security Council.

The summit welcomed the adoption of the “New York Declaration” on the implementation of the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. The leaders commended the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the French Republic in this regard.

The leaders stressed the importance of concerted efforts by the international community to ensure broad recognition of the independent State of Palestine.

The leaders expressed deep appreciation to the State of Qatar, its Amir, Government, and people for hosting and organizing the summit. They highly valued Qatar’s active role in fostering a spirit of consultation and consensus among member states.

The summit reaffirmed support for the Palestinian people’s rights, including their right to establish an independent state along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital. The leaders emphasized the need for a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian cause.

The leaders condemned Israeli policies that have caused an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. They stressed that these practices constitute a full-fledged war crime requiring urgent international action.

The summit warned of the catastrophic consequences of any decision by Israel to annex any part of the occupied Palestinian territory. The leaders rejected such a move as a blatant assault on the historical and legal rights of the Palestinian people.
