The Emir of Keffi, Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa II, has appointed and turbaned a renowned University Lecturer, Professor Yaki Katuka, as the ‘Wakiln Ilmin Keffi’ (Ambassador of Knowledge of Keffi.
Yaki, a Professor of Public administration and Politics has taught in Nasarawa State University Keffi for a couple of years before joining Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai where he has been lecturing for close to 10 years now.
In his response, Prof. Yaki expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Emir, pledging to uphold the values and traditions of Keffi Emirate. “I humbly express my heartfelt gratitude for the honor bestowed upon me… I pledge to uphold the values and traditions of Keffi Emirate and to continue serving our Emirate with integrity, wisdom, and dedication,” he stated.
As Wakiliin Ilimin Keffi, Prof. Yaki has vowed to work tirelessly for the progress and prosperity of Keffi, invoking Allah’s blessings and preservation on the noble Emirate. This appointment is a testament to Prof. Yaki’s dedication to the Emirate and his expertise in his field.
